How do I find out about Funding Opportunities?
There are several ways through TRS to be notified about funding opportunities:
* The Funding Information Specialist maintains a database of PI keywords. This database is used to generate keyword specific emails. In order to make sure your information is complete please contact the Funding Information Specialist: Elizabeth Vasquez 979-845-1264. evasquez@tamu.edu.
* The Funding Information Specialist also maintains a database of funding opportunities. (You will be asked to log into the EPIK Portal, the browser will then go to our internal EPIK Portal Location: database of funding opportunities )
* Funding ActiviTEES newsletter provides a list of funding opportunities each month, along with informative articles relating to your projects.
* TRS maintains a subscription to Info Eds’ SMARTS/GENIUS. For more information on how to set up your profile visit our Pre-Award site within EPIK. The SMARTS/GENIUS page give detailed information.
* Get to know your colleagues: A “People Search” is available on the TEES website that will help in finding PIs with similar interests.
